Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions announces that Celent has awarded the company with the XCELENT Customer Base 2010 Award for the breadth and spread of customer base for payment services hubs, both live and under implementation.

The award is part of Celents ABCD Vendor View framework, which was researched in the second half of 2010 and resulted in the report Evaluating the Payments Services Hub Vendors, which was published in early January 2011. Clear2Pay is Celents undisputed winner of the XCelent Customer Base award and has scored highly in almost all other categories. It is entirely dedicated to payments and has been one of the first companies to start promoting the payment hub concept, states Zilvinas Bareisis, Senior Analyst at Celent and author of the report.

Warren Gardiner, Clear2Pays Chief Strategy and Product Officer states: From day one, we have built our company on our vision around Payment Hubs, which resulted in a pure SOA platform that enables banks and other financial institutions to migrate towards a unified payment environment in which they can leverage the processing power and service levels of systems across all payment types. Today, the Open Payment Framework is the only wholly BPEL driven SOA payments hub in the market and, as the report states, also unique in that it can manage card payments processing on the same platform. This award perfectly aligns with our slogan at this years Sibos: The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and is as such a true credit to all our 650+ colleagues who work around the world on development, sales and customer implementation in highly demanding environments.
