City Networks, a provider of software and services to the treasury, securities and derivatives markets, says it has hired Peter Gertler and Maxine Camar as account managers. Their brief is to sell City Networks products in Continental Europe.
Gertler, who has worked in the financial and corporate service sectors for over ten years, has extensive European sales experience. He previously held senior sales and business development roles at Virage Inc., Tarantella Inc. and Xionics Document Technologies. Gertler is fluent in several European languages.
Maxine Camar has also enjoyed a successful career in new business and account management roles, with a track record in the IT sector stretching back seven years. She was most recently at Cognotec, selling to banks in London and Europe. Prior to that job, she worked at Continuus Software, selling to banks and insurers.

Both Gertler and Camar will report to EMEA Head of Sales Marc Philippo.
