City Networks, a provider of software and services to the treasury, securities and derivatives markets, today said it appointed Peter Little as Non-Executive Director on its board.

Little’s 20-year career includes roles as co-founder and managing director of Braid Systems (acquired by Mercator) and more recently as CEO of Dovetail Systems and Chairman of City Networks’ partner, Singularity.

The City Networks board acknowledges that Little’s industry knowledge and experience make him a welcome addition to the board. One of Little’s main areas of contribution will be on product strategy, where he will work closely with the board as well as with Marcus Dutton, its newly appointed Product Strategy Director, City Networks said.

“The position of Non-Executive Director on the board of City Networks is particularly exciting due to the company’s sustained profit growth over four years putting it in an ideal position to make the most of growth opportunities,” Little said. “In addition, the company’s excellent reputation in the market and impressive client base increase its investment capacity.”

Costa Christodoulou, CEO of City Networks, adds that “the appointment of Peter adds new dimension to the board of City Networks, and on behalf of the board, I am pleased to welcome him to the team. We look forward to his contributions in the ongoing success of our company.”
