London-based City Consultants has merged with DCE Consultants.
“It is a new strategic relationship and will produce an even stronger, more far-reaching management consulting firm for the financial services industry,” says a spokesman for City Consultants. “The merged operation will build on the strengths of both operations including quality, experience and above all the ability to deliver. City Consultants’ clients will also benefit from the research and service development capability available from an Investment and Securities practice that can draw on 100 consultants across Europe.”
DCE is a European Management Consultancy with offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Luxembourg and Paris, and a presence in Germany, Italy, Scandinavia and Spain. It is currently running a number of cross border projects for companies such as ING and Fortis, where the firm provides a single pan-European client solution delivered through locally-based consultants.
According to Steve Price, DCE Consultants’ UK Managing Director, the impact of the merger will be immediate. He says he has “significant growth expectations” for the merged operations and has already announced that City Consultants will be stepping up recruitment to ensure that it is ready to meet the “inevitable” increased demand for its services.
