Citi Markets & Banking has added an Offshore Money Market Mutual funds from nine fund managers to its Citibank Online Investments portal in Europe.
“Companies are looking to manage their cash in a comprehensive way, and our portal integrates the investment process into the client account structure, cash flows and our cash management systems for comprehensive, one stop cash management,” says Mark Beard, Head of EMEA Liquidity and Investments for the Cash Management business at Citi.
The portal enables investors to manage their cash and investments through one application and automatically settle all trades against their operating bank account.
Andrew Plenderleith, EMEA Product Manager of Citibank Online Investments, adds, “More clients are using a portal for their investments – industry surveys indicate this usage will likely increase. Few portals directly integrate with an institutional client’s cash management processes the way we have combined Citibank Online Investments with both CitiDirect Online Banking and TreasuryVision.”
