Citi announced the appointment of Jose Benjamin Longree as EMEA Head of Client Sales Management for Investors in its Securities and Fund Services business. Longree brings extensive experience in the European marketplace to the role, including his most recent position as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Caceis Group. In addition, Iain Harper has been appointed as an Investor Client Sales Manager, based in London.

Jose Benjamin Longree began his career as a lawyer, and moved into banking in 1996 at Banque Indosuez Luxembourg. The firm became Credit Agricole Indosuez, and by 2002 Longree focused on funds servicing and headed up the international sales forces of what was to become Caceis Group. Longree was promoted to Managing Director in 2006 and became deputy CEO last year. He will be based in Luxembourg in his new role at Citi.
Iain Harper is an international sales professional with an extensive knowledge of a number of sectors including asset servicing and fund management. Iain joins Citi from BNY Mellon, where he spent the last nine years as a New Business Sales Manager, responsible for selling into both the UK corporate and public sector pension fund market. He has been working in sales for over 20 years and acquired his skills at Morgan Stanley, Reuters, SS&C Technologies and DST International. At Citi, Iain will focus on business development in the UK investor space, reporting to Jose Benjamin Longree.
