Citi has added three key executives to its global securities services and issuer services (SS&I) operations team.

Jeffrey Plein joins Citi as regional head of SS&I operations for Asia-Pacific, excluding India, from Fullerton Asset Management where he was chief operating officer. He was also head of business operations for Asia-Pacific at BlackRock.

Along with Plein, Michael Page rejoins Citi as head of productivity and automation, driving both strategic and tactical automation initiatives.

Page was previously chief analytics officer for Citi’s global FX and local markets business. He left in 2015 to become chief operating officer at Silver Ridge Asset Management.

Both Plein and Page will report to Brian Ovaert, global head of SS&I operations, and they will be based in Singapore and London respectively.

In addition, Citi has hired Owen Carrol as global head of transfer agency operations, and will be responsible for all transfer agency operations across fund administration operations globally, including distributor services in Europe and Asia, global change management and AML teams.
