Citi Global Transaction Services has named Ivo Distelbrink to the role of Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Japan Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions, which combines for the first time business management and client management for the business. Ivo will be responsible for the strategic direction, product development and management of cash management and trade services and finance, as well as sales and client management across 18 countries in Asia Pacific.
Under Ivo’s leadership, Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions business will continue to sharpen its focus on the synergies between cash management and trade services and finance, driving the development of Citi’s capabilities across the financial supply chain to meet the fast evolving needs of clients.
Prior to his new role, Ivo was the Head of Sales for Treasury and Trade Solutions in Asia Pacific and Japan. He has also held senior positions for Citi in China, New Zealand and Brazil.
Based in Hong Kong, Ivo will report to Anthony Nappi, Asia Pacific Head of Global Transaction Services and to Paul Simpson, Global Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions based in New York.
