Citi Appoints Gupte as Head of Transaction Services for Asia Pacific Region

Amol Gupte has been appointed as head for the Asia Pacific region at Citi Transaction Services. Effective May 1, Gupte will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Rodrigo Zorrilla, Citi COO Asia Pacific and Francesco Vanni dArchirafi, CEO CTS.

He succeeds Anthony Nappi who was recently promoted to Chief Administrative Officer for Citi Asia Pacific.

Gupte will become a member of the CTS Executive and Management Committees as well as the Asia Pacific Executive and Operating Committees.

Gupte has been with Citi for 23 years. He is currently head of Citis treasury and trade solutions for the North America region. Before assuming that role in April 2008, Gupte held numerous positions in CTS, including head of Cash Management for North America; head of Payments for EMEA; head of Cash Management for Western Europe as well as head of Transaction Services for Citi India sub-continent. Before joining CTS, Gupte was with Citis consumer bank in India and held roles in sales, product management and treasury.
