Citco employs 185 people in its Halifax office, which it opened in 2006. At that time, Nova Scotia Business Inc., the business investment body for the province, authorized a payroll rebate of up to $7,350,000 to create 350 full-time jobs over 7 years at the administrator. The current rebate increase now offers rebates for up to 575 employees.
