London-based Citadel Group has launched operations in US through a new division called CINTECH-US C, which stands for The Center for Intelligent Technologies Corporation.

The company has tapped as CEO Dr. Arno Kosko, a prominent electronics and telecom security expert who recently returned from Iraq, where he served as senior consultant to the State Department Office of Communications supporting the Iraqi Reconstruction effort in the telecommuniactions sector.

CINTECH will provide technology and systems consulting and implementation, with a strong emphasis on wireless security network applications related to homeland security, public safety and intelligence. CINTECH will operate in both the private and government sectors domestically and internationally.

Kosko has over 40 years experience in the electronic and telecommunications industries, having worked on engagements in Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and Latin America. He recently returned from Baghdad, where he served as senior consultant for the US Department of State, Office of Communications within the Iraqi Reconstruction Management Office. In October 2005, The Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI) named Kosko its Public Safety/Homeland Security Chairman.

Kosko has held senior positions at multiple technology and electronic security companies, including EMW Inc., PulsaRadio, Bosch-Telecom (Marconi), Harris Corporation, Aydin Corporation, California Microwave, and NorthropCPage Communications.

“Citadel is delighted to welcome Dr. Kosko to our team,” said Anthony Georgiou, Chairman of the Citadel Group. “His unique experience, expertise and proven leadership abilities on the world stage will be invaluable in deploying our global digital security network and all the strategic security-related applications within the Group’s technology portfolio.”
