Fund administrator Circle Partners has hired Nick Neri as a vice president of business development for its US subsidiary to help push sales in the region.

Joining from Mainstream Fund Services, where he was head of client relations for North America and chief operating officer, Neri will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of the US business development strategies.

He will also look to use his 20-plus years of industry experience within the traditional and alternative investment market to bring a new emphasis on hedge funds, private equity, crypto-currency, emerging managers, family offices and technology platforms.

“Although we have a global footprint and have rapidly grown the company over the past years, our US operation still could improve its visibility. We are please to have Nick on board and are confident he can play an important role in this respect,” said Gerben Oldekamp, global head of business development, Circle Partners.

Circle Partners currently operates offices in eight countries with over $10 billion in assets under administration for hedge funds, fund of funds, real estate, private equity and crypto-currency funds.
