Circle Partners has acquired Caledonian Global Fund Services.
The Netherlands based independent financial services provider offers fund administration, fiduciary management and advisory services. Its latest acquisition marks a considerable extension of its client reach, as a result of Caledonian Global Fund Services’ own geographical base which covers Orlando, Florida, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.
Michael van Zanten, Circle Partners’ global head of Fund Services, says, “With this acquisition, Circle Partners is well-positioned to further expand its fund administration services to the US marketplace and to strengthen its presence in the Western hemisphere, having acquired a fund services operation in Curacao back in 2012. This is an important and logical step in our strategy of becoming a global service provider.”
With the completion of this acquisition, the Circle Partners group now employs approximately 70 employees, services all types of alternative funds, with a combined sum of assets under administration of over $6 billion.
