CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company announced has been ranked number one in relationship management to securities borrowers in ISF International Securities Finance magazine’s (ISF) 2007 Equity Lending Survey.

“CIBC Mellon provides the borrower community a standard of service excellence typically reserved for much larger global firms. CIBC Mellon’s strong performance in the survey reflects its leadership position not just in the Canadian securities lending market, but globally as well,” says Craig MacDonald, editor, ISF.

“We are extremely pleased with the results of this year’s survey. Our strong performance validates our efforts to offer borrowers a superior client experience built on strong industry knowledge, support for their trading strategies, and robust operations that are designed to minimize risk and costs,” adds James Slater, senior vice president and head of capital markets, CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services.

The annual survey is an impartial evaluation of how borrowers and lenders view each other based on feedback from industry participants in eleven service categories.
