CIBC Mellon has enhanced Workbench, its browser-based, real time reporting and global market information tool. This update allows institutional investors and their investment managers to customize their Workbench home page to display information that is of business interest to them, such as global news updates, global market guides, market profiles, currency analysis and market commentary from CIBC World Markets, Mellon Global Securities Services and Russell/Mellon Analytical Services.

“Our clients and their investment managers have a myriad of information needs that they look to us to fulfill,” said Tim Dixon, CIBC Mellon senior vice president, relationship manager. “By launching a customizable Workbench home page, they will now be able to benefit from selecting the specific information they want and accessing it quicker, which is a part of our client empowerment strategy.”

Workbench currently provides account reporting, reference material, real-time transactions and online client service. Planned future enhancements include instruction delivery for buy, sell, and free transactions, cash movements and corporate action notification and responses.
