CIBC Mellon today announced it has appointed Sandy MacDonald to the position of vice president, fund services, with responsibility of leading the team for pooled and mutual fund valuations, tax and financial reporting, and recordkeeping.

MacDonald joins CIBC Mellon from BMO Funds, where he was treasurer and senior manager of accounting. He is a member of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) and is qualified as a chartered accountant in Canada and Scotland.
