CIBC Mellon is distributing the economic research produced by CIBC World Markets through its Workbench Internet portal. “Our priority is to deliver products and services that benefit our clients,” said Tim Dixon, CIBC Mellon senior vice president, relationship management. “The ability for Workbench users to receive CIBC World Markets economic research, alongside Mellon and Russell/Mellon market commentary, provides our clients with well-rounded market coverage.”
Workbench provides real-time access to a variety of cash, custody, accounting and analytical reports with search, drill down and export capabilities. Other features include real-time inquiry, customizable general and regional settings and live online support. In addition, Workbench has an all-inclusive global reference library for news updates, market profiles, depository risk profiles, market commentaries, currency analysis and an online version of “A Guide to Trading Around the World,” a global settlement guide offering trading information and instructions. Future enhancements are to include home page content customization, delivery of corporate action notifications and response system, trade entry/data import, and performance measurement.
