Reuters, the global news, information and technology group, has appointed Christopher Masters as Director of Marketing and Knowledge with responsibility for global marketing initiatives within Reuters Treasury Services customer segment.

In this role, Christopher will formulate, develop and drive the segment’s marketing plan for Reuters participation in the foreign exchange and money markets. Based in London, he will also focus on new product and market development, global marketing intelligence and oversee all marketing issues connected with the product range. He took up his post at the beginning of January and reports to Mike Whitaker, Reuters – Director Treasury Services.

Christopher (41) brings to the role 20 years of marketing experience in the financial and corporate sectors. He joins Reuters from the role of Head of Sales and Marketing at Kae, the strategic marketing consultancy. Prior to this, Christopher was Head of Strategy, Corporate Development and Research for Visa International and Principal Strategy Consultant at KPMG.

Christopher has an MBA, Marketing Diploma and Banking Diploma. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Institute of Financial Services and the Strategic Planning Society.
