Chong Jin Leow Departs BNY Mellon Asset Servicing Team in Asia Pacific

Chong Jin Leow has left his role of head of BNY Mellons asset servicing business in Asia Pacific.

A spokesperson for the custodian bank confirmed he left to pursue new opportunities and had been instrumental in building a strong Asset Servicing team in the Asia-Pacific.

Leow joined BNY Mellon from State Streets Asia Pacific investor services business in 2006. He has also been with Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust Company and Citi.

BNY Mellon’s asset servicing business in Asia-Pacific will be led by Steve Lackey, Asia-Pacific chairman of BNY Mellon, until a replacement is identified.
