CheckFree Corporation says that its corporate actions application, CheckFree eVent, has secured the Benchmarking International Systems and Services (B.I.S.S.) 2006 Gold Label for the fourth consecutive year.
CheckFree eVent is a modular, workflow-driven application that enables custodians, broker/dealers, investment firms, fund managers and third-party administrators to minimise corporate actions processing risk.
The B.I.S.S. accreditation was established four years ago to provide an independent business valuation by business users and a select team of analysts drawn from a cross section of the financial services industry, who set the criteria that they would consider critical when purchasing a corporate actions solution. Each solution is benchmarked against these criteria and the independent panel and analysts determine whether the solution meets the required standards.
The B.I.S.S. Gold Label indicates that the vendor’s corporate actions solution has been awarded the independent accreditation and it thus increases the confidence of the buyer, to help reduce the risk of purchase error and speed up the procurement process.
