Chase will open 13 new full-service bank branches in Stater Bros. Supermarkets in San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego Counties by mid-year, with 5 opening today, bringing Chase to more than 730 branches in California.
“The 13 new locations are part of Chase’s strategy and commitment to significantly grow its branch network in California and will make Chase even more convenient for our customers, who will be able to get a lot accomplished in one stop,” says Pablo Sanchez, Chase’s region executive. “It’s exciting to partner with Stater Bros. Markets, a California business that has earned the loyalty of its customers.”
Each full-service Stater Bros. branch will include an ATM and will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The branches will complement Chase’s network of 720 bank branches in California.
The first five branches opening March 8 are located will open in early March in Lake Elsinore, Chino Hills, Winchester, San Jacinto and Fontana. The branches will offer a full-range of banking services, from checking accounts to mortgages and investment services.

Chase plans to hire about 100 employees to provide personal banking, lending and financial advising services to customers of the 13 branches.Chase currently operates 320 branches in supermarkets in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Idaho, Louisiana and Texas.
