Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has successfully completed its pilot deployment of DirectControl from Centrify Corporation, a provider of Microsoft Active Directory-based auditing, access control and identity management solutions for non-Microsoft platforms, and has commenced a deployment to several thousand physical and virtual servers running UNIX and Linux operating systems.

By using Centrify DirectControl, SG CIB is optimizing its IT management control by leveraging its existing, robust Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure to centrally administer user accounts and access controls for its UNIX and Linux server systems in addition to its Windows systems.

“SG CIB’s selection process and pilot deployment was both rigorous and comprehensive,” says Steve Kennedy, vice president of worldwide operations, Centrify. “We are pleased to have been selected by SG CIB to demonstrate how DirectControl can help optimize their IT infrastructure with a solution that is secure, cost-effective and non-intrusive.”
