Cetrel S.C., a debt and credit card services provider, selected Sterci SA’s Stelink software to launch a new SWIFT service bureau in Luxembourg.
The SWIFTNet migration enables financial institutions to “re-think” their SWIFT access mode. Organizations that outsource their SWIFT access to a service provider can reduce operational costs and risks, while maintaining or improving service.
“We have selected Sterci SA because they are providing with Stelink a proven and accredited solution with complete functional scope and ease of integration into the Cetrel S.C. IT infrastructure,” said Serge Clemens, head of the Interbanking project at Cetrel S.C.
Centrel S.C. has been providing multiple solutions for the Luxembourg financial sector since 1985, and it is the technical agent for multiple financial applications, like LipsNet, Direct Debit, and LIBRAC.
“Stelink is the ideal solution for a SWIFT service bureau thanks to its multi-bank capabilities, scalability and reliability,” said Etienne Savatier, head of marketing and international sales at Sterci SA. “Sterci will fully support CETREL for a smooth SWIFTNet migration between March and June 2004 in time for its new CSB customers (Cetrel Service Bureau).”
