“Gareth brings in-depth PE experience from servicing clients in the PE environment over the past dozen years. Centaur PE is growing rapidly, and as we expand, our continued success requires the sectoral experience of people like Gareth. His vision, PE experience and impressive cross-domicile knowledge are all important qualities to build this key sector as we enter our next phase of growth,” said Karen Malone, founding partner of Centaur.

Over the last five years, Centaur Fund Services has seen exponential growth in the private equity sector, in line with other players in the market who have sharpened their offering through talent acquisition and new business units.

“I’m delighted to be joining Centaur Private Equity. This sector will play a significant role in Centaur’s growth as fund administration becomes increasingly important for PE funds. Technology and client service are going to be key drivers – Centaur has already invested heavily in both its PE teams and processes and I look forward to ensuring our PE clients receive the best solution in the market,” said Davies.
