Financial research and consulting firm Celent has promoted David Easthope to senior vice president of Celent’s Securities & Investments Group.
Easthope has been with Celent since 2005 when he joined as an analyst. He currently serves as a research director with Celent’s Securities & Investments Group based in the firm’s San Francisco office. His expertise lies in electronic trading, market venues, and market structure.
Prior to joining Celent, he served as a director of strategy at Charles Schwab. Easthope also held the role of business strategist at brokerage firm Detwiler Fenton and equity research roles at Raymond James & Associates and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, where he covered the financial technology industry.
