BlueWave Technology’s claims management system for property/casualty insurance companies, PipelineClaims, was featured in a recent report published by Celent.
Celent’s report, “Core Claims System Vendors 2008” by Donald Light, profiled 21 vendors with claims systems available today. The report identified claims as “an area that insurers are upgrading and vendors are offering enhanced solutions,” and went on to note PipelineClaims is the “newest solution covered” in the report ,and “…it is based on modern technology, written from the ground up in Java using the J2EE framework.”
The software vendor profiles in the report each include an overview of the company’s background and product highlights; information about the product’s basic and enhanced functionality as well as product breadth; plus, details about technology, usability, reporting, analytics, implementation timeframes and costs.
Additionally, BlueWave’s profile specifically notes some of the attributes adjusters will appreciate which are incorporated into the PipelineClaims user interface, such as current diaries, clickable icons, and the ability to open multiple claims simultaneously.
“The user interface is attractive and well designed,” says Donald Light, senior analyst, insurance team and author of the report, Celent. “BlueWave has put a great deal of effort into designing ease‐of‐use features for adjusters.”
“PipelineClaims was built by insurance professionals who put a great deal of thought into making the adjuster’s life as easy as possible,” says Riki Fujitani, president and CEO, BlueWave Technology. “The ease of navigation and highly‐intuitive user interface may be the first things you notice about Pipeline Claims, but underneath is a highly‐customizable and configurable system that gives power back to the business.”
