Carl Davey will depart Morgan Stanley as head of Prime Brokerage sales for Singapore. After 16 years with the bank he will leave to join Citigroups unit that provides services including clearing trades and lending money to hedge funds in Asia Pacific.
Davey will lead prime brokerage sales at Citi for Greater China. The bank has been bolstering its prime brokerage efforts in Asia this year, with appointments including those of David Stanbridge, who was formerly chief operating officer at Hong Kong-based Kilometre Capital.
Stella Jaeger, an executive director in the prime brokerage sales team in Singapore, will replace Davey.
