Cardano has appointed Claire Bowyer to its London-based team. Claire joins as Cardanos Head of Legal.

As part of our role as a Solvency Manager we seek to negotiate the best legal terms and protection for our clients investments, says Kerrin Rosenberg, CEO of Cardano UK. This is an essential part of getting the best deal for clients and managing their legal risks. Claires appointment will strengthen our ability to take maximum control on legal issues, given her extensive experience of reviewing documents for a wide range of investments and funds.

In addition to managing the legal due diligence of proposed investments, Claires role will include advising on client contracts, negotiating documentation for derivative instruments and advising Cardano on all other legal aspects of its business.

Before joining Cardano, Claire was a senior associate at law firm Travers Smith, where she specialised in Investment Funds, Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions. During her 12 years at Travers Smith, Claire led the structuring and formation of private equity and hedge funds, managed the structural re-organisation of various fund managers and advised institutional investors on their investments in a variety of funds.
