Capco has hired Padma Parthasarathy as country manager for India. Based in Bangalore, Parthasarathy will be responsible for developing Capco’s relationships with India’s banking sector as well as increasing the client base. Parthasarathy will report to Gopi Chelliah, Partner and Executive Vice President, Business Process Outsourcing and Sourcing Development.

Parthasarathy joins Capco from Perot Systems TSI (India) Ltd, where she was most recently Vice-President, Strategic Accounts and Initiatives. Previously, she held other senior positions including General Manager and Head, Financial Services Vertical and Head, European Business Development.

Parthasarathy has more than 17 years of experience in the sourcing industry leading sizeable operations teams which serviced Tier One banking clients in Europe and North America, including Citigroup, Clearstream, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered and UBS. Prior to Perot Systems, Parthasarathy was Managing Partner of Aquarius Infotech, a consulting firm based in Bangalore.

Parthasarathy was educated at the University of Bombay, Mumbai, India, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986, and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, where she obtained an MBA with specialization in Systems and Finance in 1988.

Parthasarathy said, “I look forward to my role as Capco’s country manager for India. Capco is leading the way in terms of its proposition to customers in reference data services, sourcing and business process outsourcing and has recently inaugurated its service delivery center in Bangalore, creating significant local employment opportunities.”
