Capco has appointed Sally Hinds as Managing Principal. Capco says Hinds will play a key role in building its UK and European presence in the reference data and market data environments and bolstering Capco’s Global Index Monitor (GIM) offering and BPO services.

Hinds was formerly Head of Market Data at the Buttonwood Tree Group and has over 20 years global experience with leading investment banking firms and major market data vendors, such as Reuters.

“I look forward to working with Capco who is the leading provider of reference data management solutions,” says Hinds. “While Capco Reference Data Services (CRDS) already has a significant base of customers, Capco now has a tremendous opportunity to further build the CRDS brand as a customer focused brand in Europe. There is a growing trend for firms to adopt an overall data strategy encompassing reference and real-time data and Capco is ideally placed to offer relevant strategic advice as well as specific solutions for customers needs.”

Dai Bedford, Partner and Managing Director for Capco UK, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Sally Hinds to the Capco London team. This appointment demonstrates our commitment to extending our capability into the area of market data while at the same time building our reference data services business in the European market.”

The Capco Global Index Monitor (SM) was developed by Iverson Financial Systems. Capco acquired Iverson in 2004 to form Capco Reference Data Services with a complete range of reference data management offerings, including application service provider (ASP), business process outsourcing (BPO), and business service provider (BSP) capabilities, as well as managed services.

Global Index Monitor provides constituent level details of all world indices and has recently been expanded to provide additional coverage for asset managers and the buy side, GIM delivers accurate timely and consistent data from US and world markets with around-the clock updates in a simple, unified file structure. ETF data is also available.
