Capco, the financial services technology consultancy, is appointing Chintu (Neil) Ramchandran as CEO of its Bangalore, India-based offshore operations.

Ramchandran joins Capco after 15 years at Accenture, where he most recently held leadership roles based in the U.K. and Germany. He has also worked for a major U.K.-based bank, Capco says.

The American consultancy is hoping to expand its offshore business, and says it sees India as a key market.

Neil brings considerable experience in global consultancy delivery using offshore-based resources, says Rob Heyvaert, Capco founder and CEO. His addition to our senior management team positions Capco even more strongly to seize the opportunity to help clients execute on their financial services change initiatives whether these be in consulting, outsourcing or transformational in nature.

This is a tremendous time to be joining one of the worlds fastest-growing professional services firms, says Ramchandran. Capco has a strong heritage in consistently delivering high-quality, high-impact complex engagements across financial services through its global delivery model. My role at Capco provides me with the opportunity to return to my Indian roots and to work with some of the industrys highly regarded technology professionals.
