Camilla Robinson Seippel has replaced Tonika Hirdman as CEO of Swedish fund management company Banco Fonder. Hirdman has moved to a new position as head of ABN AMRO Bank in Luxembourg. ABN AMRO is the owner of Banco Fonder.
Camilla Robinson Seippel has worked within the field of finance for ten years, for example as head of customer relations for institutional investors at Alfred Berg Asset Management and Lnsfrsikringar Asset Management and as controller at Skandia Investment Management. For the past two years Camilla has worked as VP and sales manager for Banco Fonder. The position as VP will be assumed by Ulrica Matsers, head of marketing at Banco Fonder.
“The most important agenda points for me is an intensified focus on SRI, which is the heart and soul of Banco Fonder,” says Camilla Robinson Seippel. “Another key issue for me is the development of customer value, we need to become more accessible to our investors, for example we could get better at using technology in order to make business with us a simpler exercise. Also we could focus more on offering the investors exiting products from our owner ABN AMRO.”
Tonika Hirdman will be assuming her new post at ABN AMRO Bank in Luxembourg on September 1. For the last two years, supplementing her role as CEO of Banco, she has had a global appointment within ABN AMRO as the implementation head of investments following the Banco strategy.
“When I assumed the CEO post three years ago, one of my goals was to strengthen the work implementing SRI and our profile within that area,” says Tonika Hirdman. “We have achieved a great deal during this period and in my new position in Luxembourg I am looking forward to continuing to combine business and customer value with a responsibility for social and environmental aspects.”
Banco Fonder manages the hedge fund Banco Hedge, a multi strategy fund managing approximately 68 million Euro.
