The Privatization Agency in Bulgaria is to float 34.78% of the capital of the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company (BTC) at an initial offer price of BGN 100 per share on 27 January. The offer will close on 28 February.
“The ongoing privatization process and the future trading of BTC will boost investors’ interest in the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and therefore, also its turnover and liquidity,” says Miroslav Velikov, head of custody for HVB Bank Biochim in Sofia.
