The International Securities Exchange (ISE) has selected BT to provide its customers with low latency connectivity and hosting for trade execution and market data.
As a result of the agreement, BT is opening access to its New York area hosting facility to the ISE, which gives ISE customers the option to co-locate their trading engines with BT to achieve near-zero trading latencies.
Through a combination of Radianz Proximity Solution and a customised implementation of Radianz Ultra Access, BT is enabling market participants outside the New York metro area to enhance their advanced trading strategies and use one of the fastest connections to the ISE.
Moreover, firms that co-locate with BT can also benefit from using Radianz Ultra Access, which facilitates sub-one millisecond speeds to additional New York area based exchanges.
“As a leader in providing low-latency access to market data and trade execution, BT is constantly looking for ways to further enhance its customer experience with competitive solutions. With the combination of our Radianz Proximity Solution and Radianz Ultra Access we can facilitate one of the fastest connections in the market, and we are proud to work with a clear innovator such as the ISE to enable this fast, reliable service,” says Chuck Pol, head, BT Global Financial Services.
“We are very pleased to add the Radianz Proximity Solution as a connectivity alternative for our members. BT’s offering complements and expands our existing connectivity options to meet the needs of our members for a comprehensive and flexible low-latency connectivity solution.” adds Daniel Friel, chief information officer, ISE.
