BT Radianz announced that it has expanded Radianz Proximity into the futures and options market by providing low latency access to leading Chicago execution venues. Firms will now have hosted access to venues, including the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), and Eurex US.

The company launched Radianz Proximity for New York-area execution venues (including the NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, ARCA and INET) earlier this year, BT Radianz is looking to expand the service to incorporate additional BT Radianz hosting facilities in other geographic areas by end of year, 2005.

Michael Cattell, vice president, Hosting & Hosted Business Solutions at BT Radianz, said: “The expansion of Radianz Proximity is meeting the demands created by the growth of black box trading. The ability to capture and analyze data moving this fast is critical, as milliseconds really matter. The new center in Chicago complements our growing position as a leading provider of connectivity to exchanges and ECNs. As the industry looks to cross asset classes, the ability to reach the Chicago futures and options market is a significant enhancement for the BT Radianz community.”
