Brookfield Investment Management, the Canada-based investment manager with a global focus, has chosen RBC Dexia Investor Services to provide investor services for a new Irish UCITS fund structure with four sub funds established in early November. Services to be provided include fund administration, shareholder services, custody, trustee, cash management, foreign exchange, financial reporting, KII services, and risk & investment analytics.
The fund launches are part of Brookfields aim to increase its global profile and grow international distribution by launching a UCITS fund platform.
The investment managers new UCITS structure will initially have four sub funds focused on maximizing Brookfield’s experience in the management of listed real estate, listed infrastructure and corporate high yield bond investment strategies.
“RBC Dexia’s selection was due to their consultative approach to providing intellectual capital around distribution and regulatory matters specifically related to UCITS,” said Kim Redding, CEO and CIO of Brookfield Investment Management.
“These funds will draw upon our considerable experience in specialized asset classes and provide an efficient means of accessing our knowledge.
