Broadridge recruits McGill to lead messaging and reconciliation business

Broadridge’s MRC business provides real-time monitoring, alerts and business controls to asset and wealth managers, investment banks and broker-dealers.

Broadridge has appointed Alastair McGill as general manager of its messaging, reconciliation and connectivity (MRC) solutions business.

McGill, a 25-year financial technology veteran, will be globally responsible for the strategy and execution of the MRC business, and will report to Tom Carey, president of Broadridge International.

McGill joins from Cashfac Technologies, where he was led global sales, product consulting, marketing and business development.

He also spent 10 years on the management board of SmartStream Technologies in a variety of senior roles, including executive vice president of Asia-Pacific and global business development, and chief marketing officer.
