Broadridge Financial Solutions has hired Christopher Perry as president of global sales, marketing and client solutions, starting in September.
The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Tim Gokey, has been overseeing these functions on an interim basis, following last fall’s departure of Stephen Racioppo, who served as chief revenue officer. While the position title has changed, the responsibilities of the role are the same, and once Perry starts, he will report to Richard Daly, Broadridge’s president and CEO.
Perry has over 25 years of experience in banking, brokerage and financial information services. Most recently, he served as global managing director of risk for the Financial & Risk division of Thomson Reuters, and during his fourteen years with the firm, he held various roles such as president, global sales and account management, overseeing 3,500 employees for the Financial & Risk division. Earlier in his career, from 2006 to 2010, he served as president, Americas for Thomson Reuters and its predecessor, Thomson Financial.
Prior to Thomson Reuters, he also worked for A-T Financial and PC Quote, and he spent several years in institutional trading and retail brokerage with Kemper Financial’s Blunt Ellis & Loewi unit. He started his career with Merchandise National Bank of Chicago.
“Chris’s deep background in technology-based services, regulation and financial sales complements Broadridge’s growth aspirations,” says Gokey. “Chris brings a track record in client solutions for global accounts that will also be an asset to both Broadridge and our clients.”
