Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. has appointed Peggy Schooley as General Manager of its Mutual Funds Proxy Services business. She joins Broadridge from Evergreen Service Company, LLC, where she served as President since 2005. Evergreen Service Company, LLC is a subsidiary of Evergreen Investment Company, part of the investment management business owned by Wells Fargo & Company.
Schooley’s responsibilities include overall planning and execution of all mutual funds proxy services including operations, compliance and regulatory oversight, vote reporting and solicitation, as well as spearheading new business and expanding client relationships.

As President of Evergreen Service Company, LLC, Ms. Schooley was responsible for all Transfer Agent functions, including compliance and regulatory oversight, as well as negotiation of contracts. Previously, she held top leadership positions at Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, LLC, PFPC, Inc., Financial Institutions Division, and Putnam Investments. Schooley began her career at the USAA Investment Management Company.
Schooley has served on various committees including the Investment Company Institutes’ Operations Committee, Broker Dealer Advisory Committee, the Transfer Agent Committee, and multiple NICSA committees. Recently, Ms. Schooley completed her tenure as Chairman of NICSA, and was also named the recipient of the 2009 PricewaterhouseCoopers Award. Ms. Schooley attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and is Series 7, 24, and 63 licensed.
