Broadridge Financial Solutions and BI-SAM, a provider of performance measurement and attribution solutions for asset managers, have partnered to launch Broadridge Investment Management Solutions (IMS) Performance Reporting for institutional asset managers, including hedge funds.
The solution providers these managers with access to performance and attribution as part of an integrated suite that includes order management, portfolio management, risk reporting and a data warehouse.
Through a combination of BI-SAM’s B-One performance calculation engine and Broadridge’s Investment Management technology, the solution provides daily, customizable performance calculations and absolute attribution analysis across multiple asset classes and dimensions of the business, including true time-weighted returns at multiple levels, internal rates of return at fund level, benchmark comparisons and market segment decomposition.
Performance metrics, which can be viewed on mobile devices such as iPads, can be incorporated into managers’ existing accounting and client reporting platforms.
“There is increasing demand across the investment management industry for more extensive performance reporting and measurement, deliverable without the need to significantly increase technology and operational support,” says Bennett Egeth, president, Broadridge Investment Management Solutions. “Our solution enables hedge funds and investment managers to meet complex reporting needs through an integrated and customizable tool that eliminates data silos and allows them to increase operating scale and focus more on enhancing their returns and raising new assets. Clients are looking to consolidate their providers and simplify their infrastructure. This is a major step towards that.”
