Broadreach Group has appointed Mark Schwartz as partner and global head of its Rates, FX and Commodities Search Practice.
Schwartz will be working closely with the full roster of Broadreach clients, covering both the hedge fund and banking communities. Brian Grover, founder and managing partner, made the announcement.
Schwartz brings more than 20 years of industry experience in sales, trading and as a business head. Most recently he was senior vice president in charge of institutional sales for rates, foreign exchange, commodities and e-commerce at Standard Chartered Bank, New York. Schwartz has held similar positions at Lehman Brothers and NatWest.
“We are seeing increased activity in the futures markets, including currencies, rates and commodities, and our clients are looking to add talent in these areas. We are pleased to welcome Mark, who brings knowledge and scope to this executive search practice area as we seek to help our clients build intellectual capital and succeed in the global marketplace,” says Grover.
Headquartered in New York, Broadridge has offices in London and Tokyo, and will soon be opening offices in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
