Brinker Named North America Head of Sales for BNY Mellon Beta and Transition Management Business

Bob Brinker has been named managing director and head of sales in North America for BNY Mellon Beta & Transition Management. He is based in Pittsburgh and reports to Mark Keleher, chief executive officer of the beta and transition management business.

Brinker succeeds David Hanlon who left the company in January 2012 to join Pyramis Global Advisors.

Brinker has 27 years of experience in sales and client relationships in both the asset management and asset servicing businesses of BNY Mellon, most recently as managing director of investment analysis in the asset servicing group. He also served as director of sales and marketing for Mellon Equity Associates, which now is part of Mellon Capital Management Corporation.

Commenting on Brinkers appointment, Keleher, said: “We are confident that his knowledge of the industry will prove invaluable as he educates institutional investors about the true costs of changing asset allocations, moving assets, and implementing investment solutions to gain customized exposure to markets.”
Brinker received his bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University.
