Brazilian CSD Cetip Appoints New CEO

Cetip, the Brazilian fixed income CSD and private asset clearing house in Brazil, has selected Gilson Finkelsztain as CEO. He will be replacing interim CEO Francisco Carlos Gomes.

Cetip, the Brazilian fixed income CSD and private asset clearing house in Brazil, has selected Gilson Finkelsztain as CEO. He will be replacing interim CEO Francisco Carlos Gomes.

Finkelsztain will take up his role on August 15. He is currently a director at Cetip, where he has served since 2011. Finkelsztain has occupied senior roles at Citibank, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Banco Santander Brazil, with experience in the derivatives market, foreign exchange and fixed income.
