Bob Gartland, managing director, head of the Global Infrastructure for the Fixed Income Division (FID) and a member of the FID Executive Committee at Morgan Stanley, and chairman of TradeWeb LLC, has joined the Board of Managers at Omgeo -a group of twelve securities executives that the DTCC-Thomson joint venture looks to for governance and industry oversight.

At Morgan Stanley, Gartland is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure for the Fixed Income Division. This includes Technology and Operations Planning, STP Strategy and e-Commerce Investments.
Gartland is currently a board member and chairman of TradeWeb LLC. His previous board memberships include, his representation of Morgan Stanley on the Board of Directors of the National Securities Clearing Corporation from 1993 to 1997, and service as a director on the Board of Southwest Securities Corporation from 1998 to 2000.
Gartland received a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University (1975) and a B.S. cum laude from Hofstra University (1974).
