Board Of CSD Approved By The National Securities Commission Of Romania

The Romanian regulator, the National Securities Commission, has approved the Board of the CSD and validated the Romanian members. The validated members are 1. Dana Mirela Ionescu (member of the BSE Committee) 2. Stere Farmache (General Manager of BSE) 3.

The Romanian regulator, the National Securities Commission, has approved the Board of the CSD and validated the Romanian members.

The validated members are:

1. Dana Mirela Ionescu (member of the BSE Committee)

2. Stere Farmache (General Manager of BSE)

3. Rares Nilas (member of the BSE Committee)

4. Sergiu Ovidiu Pop (member of the BSE Committee)

5. Adrian Manaila (member of the BSE Committee)

6. Ioan Catona (President of Regisco)

7. Nicolae-Alexandru Rusu (SIF Oltenia)

8. Cecilia Manta (SIF Moldova)

The CSD was created based on the structure of the former independent registrar Regisco.

Following the obtaining on 19th of June 2006 of the establishment authorisation the Shareholders Meeting was called in order to elect a new Board reflecting the current shareholder’s structure. As of today, the CSD has share capital of 11,031,300 RON of which 515 is held by the BSE.

“Currently the CSD has completed the first stage of the authorisation process,” says a spokesman for ING. “The CSD will provide a centralised evidence of the settlement, depository and registry operations for the regulated markets and alternative trading systems.”
