BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has been appointed by Jyske Bank to provide global custody services for assets valued at US$11 billion.

Jyske Bank is headquartered in Silkeborg and supports a range of institutional and wealth management clients. They had managed their own sub-custody network prior to appointing BNY Mellon. Following a strategic review of their operational infrastructure, Jyske Bank decided to outsource its global custody to BNY Mellon to leverage the operational efficiencies in outsourcing to one provider. All assets will be fully transitioned during the fourth quarter.

We have a long-standing relationship with BNY Mellon and following our review decided they were the best choice to provide global custody and value added services for us and our clients, said Bo A. Christensen, at Jyske Bank. We have an ongoing programme to enhance our operations and this arrangement with BNY Mellon further supports our commitment to continuous improvement in this area.

“We are very pleased to be growing our relationship with Jyske Bank, said Nadine Chakar, Executive vice President and head of EMEA, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. The awarding of this mandate demonstrates that our strategic business approach to service excellence and constant reinvestment in our custody platform continues to resonate with clients.
