BNY Mellon Names European CFO

BNY Mellon has named Eric Pulinx as CFO of its European banking, subject to regulatory approval.

Pulinx joins after four years with bpost Bank (Belgian Postal Bank), where he was latterly CFO, CRO and a Member of the Executive Committee. Previously Pulinx spent over 10 years with KPMG where he was senior manager and recognized statutory auditor on the audit of several European banks.

Commenting on Pulinx’s appointment, Wim Hautekiet, CEO of BNY Mellon, said: “His business acumen and prior experience in the finance industry will be valuable as we continue to develop our European banking entity and pursue our strategic growth plans across the region.”
