BNY Mellon has launched a German-language version of its Workbench reporting platform, which enables clients to access fund accounting and custody related information online.
In addition to adding local language functionality for German clients, the new version offers additional reporting capabilities in respect of derivatives transactions and invoice information.
The 200 client institutions will be able to choose to translate all aspects of Workbench, including receiving custody, KAG and depotbank reports, viewing news, responding to corporate actions, entering instructions, and confirming market and account information in either German or English.
Michelle Grundmann, managing director at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing in Germany, said: Rolling out a German language version of Workbench has been a key priority during the integration programme following our acquisition of BHF Asset Servicing. In addition to the functionality we are making available to them today, we are already working on developing additional capabilities to further expand the German platform.
