BNY Mellon has recruited a senior securities services product manager to oversee client relations for its European trust and depositary (T&D) business.

Kevin Tomlin joins as head of relationship management for EMEA T&D from BNP Paribas, where he was previously a senior product manager working across the securities services business, including depositary, fund accounting and middle-office.

He was also a director of relationships at NatWest Trustee and Depositary Services, and also held management roles at the Financial Services Authority, now known as the Financial Conduct Authority.

“Kevin will play an important role in delivering world class services to our clients across the EMEA region. His broad and deep knowledge and track record make him ideal for this role. He joins us at an exciting time as we continue to develop our One EMEA T&D model,” said Daron Pearce, CEO, BNY Mellon EMEA Asset Servicing and recently inducted GC Legend.

Tomlin is the second major appointment for the T&D business this month, after BNY Mellon recruited Christoph Stähler as head of T&D Germany. The bank also hired Linda McMahon to lead the UK T&D division.
