BNY Mellon Boosts Asset Servicing Team

BNY Mellon has hired Douglas Shulman as its new global head of client service delivery, as well as appointing Dan Kramer as an executive vice president for its asset servicing business.

BNY Mellon has hired Douglas Shulman as its new global head of client service delivery, as well as appointing Dan Kramer as an executive vice president for its asset servicing business.

Shulman joins from consultancy McKinsey & Company where he was a senior adviser. He has also served various roles at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Wall Street’s self-regulatory body, where he was most recently a vice chairman.

Shulman replaces Andrew Bell, who retired from the company after 35 years at the bank.

Kramer joins from JP Morgan where he was a managing director and head of fund services operations and the fund services business. He also served as chief operating officer at Deutsche Bank Asset Management and held senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
